The fourth single from the album The Click. Chart: #2 (alternative chart). Released in U.S.A. March 23, 2018.
Currently on Billboard's alternative song chart.
The track reflect's today's political climate, and how the current generation has a role in making change. Many high profile people have been taken down, both in politics and the film industry, by people banding together to stop bad behavior. It was written for Morgan Spurlock’s documentary Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken, an attack on McDonalds and fast food. It is a sequel to the successful 2004 documentary. 'March for Our Lives', a student-led demonstration in support of tighter gun control, used it as their theme song. It took place in Washington, D.C. March 24, 2018, with other marches around the country, involving up to 2 million people. - Larry -

Ryan Mett - 2018:press release
"We’re at a very interesting point in history right now. There’s a tangible power that our generation now has, making real political change in the world. That energy excites us, so we wanted to write a song shedding light on it."
Ryan Mett - 2018:Rolling Stone
"We wrote the song observing this strange thing happening in our generation where regular people have so much power. Regular people can get TV shows shut down, and they’re making amazing political change as well, thanks to Twitter. … We wrote “Burn the House Down” from a very personal, honest place. Then March for Our Lives reached out to us and they saw a connection between their cause and what we were writing about. Now it’s their theme song, which is really cool."

Used to keep it cool
Used to be a fool
All about the bounce in my step
Watch it on the news
Whatcha gonna do?
I could hit refresh and forget
Used to keep it cool
Should I keep it light?
Stay out of the fight?
No one's gonna listen to me
If I write a song
Preaching what is wrong
Will they let me sing on TV?
Should I keep it light?
Is that right?
(Is that right?)
Way up way up we go
Been up and down that road
Way up way up, oh no
We gon' burn the whole house down
Watch me stand in the line
You're only serving lies
You've got something to hide
We gon' burn the whole house down
We gon' burn the whole house down
Yeah
Used to let it go
Walk into the show
Gawking at the tricks up your sleeve
Too good to be true
But I'm in a room
Full of entertainers and thieves
Used to let it go
Woah, oh no
(Whoa, oh no)
Way up way up we go
Been up and down that road
Way up way up, oh no
We gon' burn the whole house down
Watch me stand in the line
You're only serving lies
You've got something to hide
We gon' burn the whole house down
We gon' burn the whole house down
(We gon' burn the whole house down)
Should I hang my head low?
Should I bite my tongue?
Or should I march with every stranger from Twitter to get shit done?
Used to hang my head low
Now I hear it loud
Every stranger from Twitter is gonna burn this down
Way up way up we go
Been up and down that road
Way up way up, oh no
We gon' burn the whole house down
Watch me stand in the line, (whoa oh)
You're only serving lies, (yeah)
You've got something to hide
We gon' burn the whole house down
Whoa oh, yeah
We gon' burn the whole house down
We burn it down, we burn it down
We gon' burn the whole house down
